Is Alexander Mogilny the biggest Hockey Hall of Fame snub ever? Not only is Mogilny a historically significant player being the first Russian to defect from the Soviet Union to play in the NHL, he’s got the stats to back it up including a few of what I consider to be the most impressive:

76 goals in a season, a feat only achieved by Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux, Teenu Selanne, Phil Esposito, and Brett Hull (and Mogilny did it in only 77 games).

1032 career points in just 990 games. Only Peter Forsberg, Eric Lindros, Pavel Bure, and Jaromir Jagr have finished with a higher points per game rate than Mogilny since he retired in 2007.
