All time Bears great Dan Hampton played his final season in 1990, leading Chicago to a Division Championship, and to the Divisional round of the playoffs after beating New Orleans in the Wild Card round. In the Divisional round however, the Bears were beat by Lawrence Taylor and the Giants on their way to a Super Bowl XXV victory.
This jersey features a very obscure #91 Fred Washington Memorial patch which was worn in only 3 games (final 2 regular season home games and Wild Card playoff game) after Bears rookie Washington was tragically killed in a car accident on December 21, 1990.
