Condition: 9/10. Minor wear on the vinyl material on the crest. Otherwise in near mint condition.
This vintage 90s authentic jersey features a double CCM tag on the back of the jersey that was unique to Wayne Gretzky jerseys. Most jersey manufacturers put their logo on the bottom right hem. However, Gretzky tucked the right side of his jersey into his pants, covering up the hem tag, so after being traded by the Oilers, every jersey that Gretzky wore had a custom double tagged hem, ensuring the manufacturer logo would be visible on the jersey of the best hockey player in the world.
On February 27, 1996, Gretzky Was traded from the Kings to the Blues as St Louis hoped to beef up their offense for a deep playoff run. The Great One scored 37 points in 31 games in the regular season and the playoffs, and the Blues came within one game (and a crushing OT loss) of the Conference Finals.
