Condition: 8/10. Small stain on the front of the sweater (see closeup photo). Otherwise, any signs of wear are extremely minor.

Before they became the Toronto Maple Leafs, they were known as the “Toronto Arenas” from 1917-1919. In 1919, new owners rescued the team from bankruptcy and rebranded to the St. Patricks in honor of Toronto's growing Irish population. They played as they St Pats until 1927 when they became the Maple Leafs.

Back during the NHL’s 75th anniversary season in 1991-92, all of the original 6 NHL teams wore throwback jerseys. These are extremely hard to come by as CCM greatly underestimated their popularity and only made a handful of them for retail sale. In July 1992, CCM announced this line of CCM Heritage hockey sweaters. The sweaters capture the vintage vibe so well, and at a time when the major sports leagues didn't really honour their past with throwback jerseys, this was a terrific first effort.
