Condition: 7/10. The vinyl layer of the crest is chipping off (see closeup photos). Otherwise in great gently worn condition. Vinyl layer on numbers and alternate captain “A” is like new.

This vintage authentic jersey is specific to the later half of the 1989-1990 NHL season after the Blues switched from CCM Small Block jersey to Big Block jerseys. These can be differentiated from the later big block jerseys because of the lack of an NHL shield on the back hem of the jersey. Hall of Famer Adam Oates played his first season in St. Louis in 1989-90 when he put up 102 regular season points, and an additional 14 points in 12 playoff games as the Blues took the Blackhawks to 7 games in the second round of the playoffs. Oates played 2 more years with the Blues, making the All-Star game in both seasons before being traded at the deadline of the 1991-92 season.
