Condition: 8/10. Was at one point a game worn jersey that has been stripped, restored, and customized as Flyers legend Mark Howe. All aspects aside from “Howe”, the number “31”, and the number “2”s are original including the fight strap and nameplate material.
Eagle was the official jersey manufacturer for the Philadelphia Flyers from 1984-1986. During the 1985-86 season, Flyers All Star goalie Pelle Lindbergh passed away after getting into a car accident just miles from the Flyers practice facility. The Flyers organization honored Pelle’s memory by wearing his number “31” on their left shoulder for the remainder of the 1985-86 season. Flyers Legend Mark Howe, son of “Mr. Hockey” Gordie Howe, played 10 years for the Flyers, was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2011, and has his number 2 hanging from the Rafters in the Wells Fargo Center in Philly. This jersey is inarguably a grail piece for Flyers fans, so snipe it now before it’s gone for good!
