Condition: Jersey shows light signs of use including some wear a few small stains on the numbers. Nameplate has been removed. Overall in very good shape considering its age.

This Stan Walters jersey throws it back to the former All-Pro’s final NFL season in which he played 12 out of 16 games. The Eagles legend spent the majority of his career protecting Ron “Jaws” Jaworski as a Left Tackle. Walters finished his career with 2 Pro-Bowls and a NFC Championship victory leading to the Birds’ first ever Super Bowl appearance against John Madden’s Raiders in Super Bowl XV during a stretch of four straight NFL playoff appearances from 1979-1982.

Back in the day, sleeve length correlated to game day temperature, with the longer sleeved jerseys of course being worn in colder games. This one has some mid-forearm length sleeves, which was probably worn in some of the colder games of the 1983 season. Other early-season photos of Walters show him wearing elbow length or shorter sleeves.
