Mark Wagner played shortstop for the Tigers, Rangers, and A’s during his nine year career. This jersey comes from his final MLB season when he played for the Oakland A’s. The jersey is tagged “1983”, but this must’ve been an extra that was re-used in ‘84 which was Wagner’s first season with the team. It’s possible that this was worn by another player that wore number 9 in 1983 or 1984, but no clear signs of previous letters exist.
