For their inaugural season, the Preds wore jerseys manufactured by Bauer with special 1998 shoulder patches. The Preds are the only NHL team to ever wear jerseys made by Bauer, and they only lasted for one season. The Preds also had a puffy, 3D looking crest similar to the Anaheim Mighty Ducks authentic jerseys.
