This rare home alternate vest features a number 34 memorial patch for Twins legend Kirby Puckett which the Twins wore a game or two during the 2006 season.

The seldomly used Twins vest was worn four times in 2006, all were losses and it was branded "unlucky" by the team. It was then worn only once in 2007 in the first game of a double header on August 31st. When Livan Hernandez joined the team in 2008, he preferred it and the team wore it several times when he pitched. Under Hernandez's influence, Francisco Liriano also chose the vest for the team to wear during several of his starts. The vest remained part of the team's official style guide until 2009, but was likely never worn after 2008.
