This super rare team issued LSU jersey throws it back to the Tigers' 2005 campaign in which LSU finished their regular season ranked number 3 in the country. The '05 LSU squad was loaded with talent including future Super Bowl winning RB Joseph Addai and college legend JaMarcus Russell. Unfortunately, they didn't get a crack at the BCS National Championship game as they lost to Georgia in the SEC Championship. Even with a win in the SEC Championship, they weren't guaranteed to jump Reggie Bush and the USC Trojans for the 2 spot in the rankings.

This Melvin Oliver jersey is complete with super rare 2005 Chick-fil-a Peach Bowl patch. LSU dominated the Peach Bowl with a win over the Miami Hurricanes 40-3. Oliver recorded 5 tackles in the game including a sack and 2 tackles for loss. He then went on to be drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the 2006 NFL draft. Oliver had a short NFL career, but did score a touchdown on a 12-yard defensive fumble return against the Oakland Raiders.
