 This jersey features some awesome details that set it apart from your typical Gretzky authentic Including 1992-93 Stanley Cup centennial patch sewn dorectly to the jersey and then a 1993 Stanley Cup patch sewn to a swatch of white Ultrafil sewn over the cup centennial patch exactly as the Kings wore during the ‘93 Cup Finals. Back then it was common for teams to issue 1 or 2 jersey sets during the regular season, and then another set for the playoffs. Both the Kings and Canadiens kept their playoff set for the Cup Finals, but rather than remove the 100th anniversary Stanley Cup patch, they just covered it with the Stanley Cup patch and Ultrafil swatch. Then, on the inside of the jersey on the back hem is a small piece of Velcro sewn to the jersey as Gretzky wore on his game worn jerseys to ensure his signature jersey tuck didn’t come undone during the game.
