The MLB celebrated the 50th Anniversary of Jackie Robinson breaking the color barrier in 1997, and with that celebration came these 50th Anniversary patches worn on all MLB jerseys during the season. The LA Dodgers however, had a special Dodgers version of the patch sewn to the left sleeve. This Mike Piazza jersey features a vintage authentic version of that patch.
1997 was arguably Piazza’s best MLB season, as he led the league in OPS+ and finished second in MVP voting.
If you need this on-field authentic jersey for your collection, snag it now before it’s gone for good!
