Condition: 7/10. Right sleeve patch and Russell embroidered logo has some significant wear. There is also some minor stain/scuff on the back of the jersey near the right shoulder (see closeup photos). Otherwise in great gently worn condition.
This obscure ‘99 Dodgers road jersey comes from legendary reliever Eric Gagne’s rookie season.
When it comes to Dodgers jerseys, this is one of the rarest of the last 40 years. LA wore these special “Dodgers Heroes” patches on their left sleeves during the 1999 season where each player chose from an assortment of 23 different Dodgers Heroes players including legends like Roy Campanella, Pee Wee Reese, and Tommy Lasorda. Eric Gagne was one of the few Dodgers who wore a Don Sutton jersey on his left sleeve.
