After Manning’s infamous rookie campaign in 1998 in which the Colts went 3-13 and Peyton couldn’t decipher which team to throw the ball to, the Colts completely turned things around in 1999, as “The Sheriff” led the colts to a 13-3 record, donning these Puma branded jerseys for the first time, and offered a glimpse into what was to come in Peyton’s legendary career. Of course, these only lasted 2 seasons until Reebok took over jersey manufacturing league wide in 2001.
