Condition: 9/10. Great gently worn condition.
This jersey is a certified oddball! The Astros wore very similar “Astro Blue” alternate jerseys from 1994-1996, but you may notice a handful of differences. The alternate jerseys that Houston ended up wearing had reversed colors on the logo (i.e. “Astros” in white with a black star). Additionally, those did not have the silver soutache/trim outlining the buttons and collar. The color on these jerseys is a very very dark midnight blue that could easily be mistaken for black to the untrained eye. My guess is that this is a sample jersey that ended up being shelved. If you’re an Astros collector, snag this extremely rare one-of-one jersey before someone else does!
