Way back on July 23, 1999 the Marlins and Brewers played a “Turn Ahead The Clock” game with these futuristic looking jerseys complete with “computer” OCR typestyle for names and numbers. Dempster, just 22 years old at the time, started the game for the Marlins and they came out with a 5-4 win. Ryan Dempster would go onto have a great career with multiple teams, winning a World Series with the Red Sox in 2013, and making 2 all star game appearances and including one for the Marlins in 2000.
