This vintage Pistons jersey throws it back to Mateen Cleaves’ Rookie year. Cleaves was drafted in the first round of the 2000 NBA Draft after leading the Michigan State Spartans to the NCAA Championship just a few months prior. That 2000 National Championship is still the only time Tom Izzo has won the big one despite making the Final Four 8 times in his legendary career.
This gem is signed by Cleaves on the back, and is the correct size for him. It’s possible this is a game worn jersey, but at the very least it is a pro-cut team issued jersey.
