This rare 80s authentic comes from the first season of the Nuggets iconic blue and yellow rainbow uniforms. This one is complete with unique 3 layer numbers with embroidered/surge stitched blue middle layer exactly as worn on the court. Additionally, they Nuggets used curved mesh nameplates, a relic of the past that the vast majority of NBA jerseys had either moved on from by the 80s, or never bothered to begin with. On top of that, this on-court accurate jersey features knit rainbow mid section of the jersey surrounded by mesh.

Back in the heart of the high-scoring Doug Moe era, Alex English was one of the smoothest scorers the NBA had ever seen, using his deadly midrange jumper and effortless offensive game to dominate throughout the ‘80s. In 1985-86, English averaged 28.7 points per game and earned All-NBA Second Team honors while leading Denver’s fast-paced attack. Alongside Fat Lever, he helped keep the Nuggets among the NBA’s most entertaining teams of the mid-‘80s Alongside Fat Lever and Michael Adams, English was the centerpiece of one of basketball’s most exciting run-and-gun offenses.
