Here’s one I’m sure you haven’t seen before! If you followed baseball in the 90s you probably know what’s unique about this jersey. In 1994, a strike halted the Indians’ great start to the season in which 2 of their players finished 3rd and 4th in MVP voting (Belle and Lofton). The strike ultimately canceled the remainder of the ‘94 season and postseason, with Cleveland holding the 3rd best record in the AL. Cleveland’s core did have a few more cracks at a championship, winning the AL Pennant in 1995 and 1997 and winning the division 6 of the next 7 years.
