In the final year of the original Comiskey Park, the White Sox unveiled these now iconic pinstriped home jerseys. The uniforms were based on the 1951 White Sox jerseys but replaced red with silver. The jerseys kept that classic look without names on the back even as the team transitioned to their new state of the art stadium. The following year the team added a Comiskey Park inaugural season patch as the team broke in their new park in 1991.
