Ray Bourque played his last full season with the Bruins in 1998-99 and led Boston to the second round of the playoffs before being bounced by the Hart Trophy winner Dominic Hasek and the Buffalo Sabres. Of course after 21 years in Boston, Ray Bourque was traded to the Colorado Avalanche where he would finally lift the Stanley Cup in his very last game.
A detail often missed on these Starter Bruins jerseys, this gem is customized to team specs with special Bruins stitching and twill pattern that the team used in the late 90s and into the 2000s. The jersey is also complete with Bruins 75th anniversary patch as the team wore during the 1998-99 season.
