I purchased this jersey under the understanding that it was made up for the epic Super Bowl 51 matchup on February 5, 2017. The jersey is complete with the authentic team issued Super Bowl LI patch on the left chest. Matt Ryan entered the game as the 2016 NFL MVP and went up against the Patriots where Tom Brady led the Pats to a 2nd half comeback from down 28-3 to win in overtime. Famously, Tom Brady’s game worn jersey was stolen from the locker room after the game. Just another interesting tidbit from one of the most legendary NFL games of all time. This jersey does not come with authentication, so although I believe it to be game issued, in the interest of full transparency, I am selling as team issued.
