Judging from other game worn examples of the Patriot Pat era jerseys, I believe this one dates back to the 1990 season based on the materials and tagging. There was no number 94 on the final 47-man roster that year, so this was likely a preseason issued jersey. Linebacker David Ward wore number 94 during the 1989 season, who ended up signing as a practice squad player for the Chiefs in 1990, so my hunch is that it was issued to Ward for the 1990 season, but never worn.
