Condition: 9/10. Fantastic condition. Any signs of wear are extremely minor.

The absolute rarest of the rare. The 1934 Canadiens jersey was featured on the original CCM Heritage Brochure from 1992 (see last photo in listing), but the jersey is thought to have never been made because it was so similar to the 1960 Canadiens Heritage sweater. Therefore, we're thinking this one is just a prototype that has since made it out into the wild!

A little background on the Heritage line; back during the NHL’s 75th anniversary season in 1991-92, all of the original 6 NHL teams wore throwback jerseys. These are extremely hard to come by as CCM greatly underestimated their popularity and only made a handful of them for retail sale. In July 1992, as a follow-up to the first release of throwback uniforms, CCM announced this line of CCM Heritage hockey sweaters. The era-accurate wool sweaters capture the vintage vibe so well, and at a time when the major sports leagues didn't really honor their past with throwback jerseys, this was a terrific first effort.
