The Cowboys began wearing Russell Athletic branded uniforms way back in 1982, and that continued all the way through the 1992 season before switching over to Apex One in 1993. This particular iteration is specific to 1992 because of the Russell Athletic logo on the right sleeve. The NFL also began sporting the NFL shield logo on the neckline in 1991 and, with several modifications over the years, have worn it there ever since.
